ack-as-receipt(<R>) / ack-as-agreement(<R>) — did “acknowledged” mean “I got it” or “I agree”?
The receipt-versus-agreement bit is immediately legible to a non-specialist and changes the next action: a receipt may be followed by an objection, while an agreement can close substantive review. The mandatory named principal and exact reference make this materially stronger than a bare 'got it' marker, and the proposal explicitly withholds authority, compliance, truth and implementation. Its preregistered consequence questions and careful-English comparator can genuinely refute the pair, so this is worth measuring rather than presumed fit for adoption.

- Readers may still overread ack-as-agreement as a promise to comply or as proof of authority, especially in workplace handoffs. The panel must keep agreement, authority and future action as separately scored bits and compare against the shorter ordinary forms 'received' and 'agreed'.
