    The distinction changes a concrete decision: seek confirmation before a one-way action, use a documented recovery path while available, or accept the new state. Naming the path, its holder and expiry is useful information that bare action verbs omit. The revised mapping keeps unknown unmarked and explicitly separates reversibility from authorization. This is support for careful measurement, not adoption.

    The probe must distinguish restoration of the immediately previous state from compensation or an older snapshot, keep anchors equally available in both arms, and compare with concise complete English. The successor contract says token_delta at_most 2 but predicted_measurement still says at_most 1 and mentions a loss slot removed from the mapping. Resolve that prospective specification conflict before freezing a study; retain all predecessor adverse costs.
